If not already tried, could you please restart Collection (Stop Collecting and Start Collecting button) for these objects and see if it makes any difference? Generally, the Collection Status shows "No parent Object monitoring" when you hover mouse on the collection status of any of the objects of Storage Devices adapter (as shown below):

regarding outlook .OST file redirection to network share
Hi Friends,
I would like to know how can we redirect my .OST file to network share link (for example N:\share\userprofile\%username%\....) because I don't want to use writable volumes.
so far I created on ADMX file for outlook cache which looks like below
under OST location option inside, I used my network share (eg: N:\share\userprofile\%username%\....) but I can't able to write my .ost file at specified location (network share).
and also when every I open the outlook I am seeing the one small MS office configuring pop up screen for 20 seconds!
please try to help me

nic teaming in a guest
Our ESXi server has 4 ports, I spread these ports across different physical switches for resilience. But I want fully utilize them on guest traffic as well.
Since they are on different switches, I cannot use etherchannel to bind them.
According to the menu, the nic teaming "Route based on the originating virtual port ID" in independent of switch settings. I prepare to use it, but this method limit to a link between physical nic and virtual nic. That means if the guest has only one NIC, it will only use one physical NIC.

Based on this, I tried to add two NICs to a Windows 2012 server guest and bind them. That failed too. If both NIC are connected, server will report one NIC in in problem, but the team is workable. If I disconnect the link of one NIC, then the link team will totally failed.
Anyone know how to do NIC teaming correctly?

Has anyone gotten those to work in a mixed enviroment?

You are right about your calculation but there are other parameters as well which we should consider while sizing vSAN. If you are looking for correct sizing, please refer to vSAN TCO - https://vsantco.vmware.com
vSAN is quite different from traditional storage arrays in terms of Sizing.

Ghost.exe create vmdk can't run in VMplayer
Hi all,
I use ghost to clone a *.vmdk file.
Then create a new VM and locate disk to the *.vmdk file,
but it show error when power on.
"Virtual device 'ide1:0' will start disconnected."
Did anyone have same problem?

What are the settings you have configured in the private networks?
After VPN into the Edge, check your routes in the client (e.g. route print in windows) and see if you have the route to the private networks.

I'm running a Move-VM command to move a VM from an NFS mount to a VSAN datastore and I'm getting this error.
Move-VM The request channel timed out while waiting for a reply after
00:05:00. Increase the timeout value passed to the call to Request or increase the SendTimeout value on the Binding.
The time allotted to this operation may have been a portion of a longer timeout.
The task still continues and completes fine in vCenter, just PowerCLI times out. Environment is PowerCLI 6.5 and PowerShell 5.0. ESXi 6.5 GA.
Anyone know how to increase this timeout?
BTW, Previously when I've ran this migration it worked fine with PowerCLI 5.5 and PowerShell 4.0. Also, in that scenario I was migrating from an NFS mount to a regular VMFS datastore.
Here's the actual syntax of the command.
$DestDS = get-vmhost "vmhostname" | Get-Datastore -Name "*vsan*"
$vmobj = get-vm "vmname"
$vmobj | Move-VM -Datastore $DestDS -ErrorAction:Stop
